Myrskyryhmä is an innovative Finnish dance group working in the field of participatory and inclusive art. Myrskyryhmä’s mission is to promote the cultural rights of seniors as participators and audiences. The activities of Myrskyryhmä include dance performances and artist residencies in care units, workshops for seniors and artists, and dance video projects with elderly people. Myrskyryhmä also provides training for nursing staff at care units. The Director of Myrskyryhmä is dance artist Elli Isokoski. Myrskyryhmä has been forerunner of this groundbreaking work since 2002 and currently considered one of the leading experts in their field.
